Our story
A Bakersfield Show Built for Growth
There was a void in the Southern Valley hobby scene. Large-scale card shows had not happened in the Bakersfield area since 2002, so in 2024 Juan and Chris stepped in to build a full-scale collectibles event with vendors from across the West Coast.
The first show featured 85 tables and about 1,500 spectators. Since then, the Bakersfield Card Expo and Collectibles Show has grown to 140+ tables and more than 3,000 spectators per event, creating a twice-a-year destination for collectors, vendors, and families.
With a larger venue now secured, the event is positioned to keep scaling while staying welcoming, organized, and worth the trip.
